NUTRITION FOR KIDS:

INTRO TO SOLID FOODS (for babies 4 - 6 months)

Considering starting your baby on solids? Or maybe you have just started with solids and you have some questions you need answered. The 2-hour session will be lead by a dietitian specializing in infant nutrition. This informative activity is also very interactive and practical. Don't miss it!

NUTRITION FOR TODDLERS Q&A (for babies 9 - 12 months)

So you've started you baby on solids and now it's time to transition to new textures and new foods. During this 1-hour session you will be able to ask all your questions and get practical tips about introducing new foods to your baby.

FIRST AID AND COMMON CHILDHOOD ILLNESSES

It's a terrible thing when you baby gets sick or gets hurt. Unfortunately, it's inevitable so best to be prepared!

This interactive workshop is led by a Registered Nurse from the Montreal Children's Hospital. You will discuss what to do when your child has:

-Fever

-Gastroenteritis

-Common cold/ viruses(ie croup, bronchiolitis,pneumonia)

-Cough/Congestion

-Cuts/Scrapes

-Burns

-Head Injury/Falls

-Fractures/Sprains

You will also discuss:

-Medication appropriate for certain age groups

- How to deal with these issues at home and when to go to the doctor!

TAMING TANTRUMS!

For parents of toddlers and pre-schoolers...

This important workshop is lead by our instructor Tanja. The 1.5 hour session is full of practical information and tips for dealing with tantrums.

This CPR class is specially designed for the parents of young children by a Registered Nurse from the Montreal Children's Hospital.

This workshop is highly recommended for parents, grandparents and babysitters.

No babysitting is provided for this class.

PHOTOGRAPHING KIDS 101

This 2-part workshop is specially designed for new parents who love taking pictures!

You will learn the basics of framing and lighting and you will be photographing your baby in class to practice the techniques you are learning.

You will discover how to take photos you will treasure forever!
